Which means, the attendees might have suffered from side effect of breast cancer treatments and need to help by others to participate the educational events. BCnetwork also offer the necessary language interpreters, transcripts, or alternative formats for materials if attendees might need.

  1. Content and curriculum:
  • Culturally relevant Integrate curriculum with diverse perspectives and experiences into the program's content, survivors talk, and examples.
  • Address unconscious biases diagnosing breast cancer and harmful stereotypes through open discussions and critical thinking exercises like stretches and yoga.
  • Inclusive language and communication in Japanese language and BCnetwork use inclusive language that respects everyone's identity and avoids discriminatory or offensive terms.
